You literally start with nothing, at all. I like Skyblock it lets you have have a self-contained experience in Minecraft. My brother's psychotic friends ensured I wouldn't go there again. My question to you is, how did you get so much obsidian? I am interested in the server as well, if you have the name. I have yet to see a person who can access the Nether in Skyblock, legitimately. Quote from ironsloth1993 »You sir, get a cookie. However, the obsidian from redstone trick no longer works in 1.8 (it was a bug which was inadvertently fixed when they changed the item format) so the map you are playing on can only be played in 1.7 and below in any case.
Please comment below how you think of my nether discovery in Skyblock 1.1 - remember, this version does not allow obsidian blocks to be spawned in your starter chest.Īs far as I know witch huts should be in the same locations in 1.8 because they didn't change world generation in any way that would affect it indeed, I once found a village in both versions and even the chest contents were exactly the same otherwise, it would only matter if you played on a version below 1.7 (which would then be the same back to when they were added in 1.4.2 since again no significant changes were made to world generation). Quote from P3num6ra »I am playing on 1.7 because a witch hut is nearby my skyblock in 1.7 - so If I load the chunks in 1.8 I will possibly will have to go a thousand blocks to go find a witch hut for a witch farm.
